Bio

As a Christian, a wife, and the mother of three wonderful children, I know firsthand that some of life’s greatest joys and greatest challenges are often found within our closest relationships. Marriage, parenting, and family life have shaped who I am in countless ways, teaching me lessons about love, perseverance, grace, and the importance of walking through difficult seasons together. Those experiences sparked a desire to come alongside others as they navigate their own journeys, and they continue to shape both who I am as a person and the way I care for my clients.

I believe everyone has a story worth hearing. Whether someone is celebrating a season of growth or carrying burdens that feel too heavy to bear alone, it is a privilege to walk alongside them. Counseling is more than helping people solve problems—it’s about building a relationship where people feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward lasting hope and healing.

My Christian faith is the foundation of who I am and naturally influences the way I approach counseling. For clients who desire it, I enjoy integrating biblical principles into the counseling process. At the same time, I welcome individuals from every background and belief system. My commitment is to provide compassionate, respectful care where every person feels valued, heard, and accepted.

My professional journey has given me the opportunity to care for people in a variety of settings, each one deepening my understanding of the unique challenges individuals and families face. Early in my career, I worked with children and adolescents in a residential treatment setting, where I witnessed both the hardships many families endure and the incredible resilience people are capable of. I later provided counseling in an elementary school setting, partnering with children, parents, teachers, and school staff to help students navigate emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.

After those experiences, I had the opportunity to spend many years as a stay-at-home mom. Those years became some of the most formative of my life, teaching me lessons about marriage, parenting, sacrifice, patience, and grace that no classroom could have provided. They gave me a deeper appreciation for the everyday joys and challenges families experience and continue to shape the way I care for my clients today.

Today, I have the privilege of working in a group private practice where I counsel children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from many different backgrounds and life experiences. Every season of my journey has reinforced the same conviction: every person’s story matters, and meaningful healing often begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and believe that caring well for others requires a lifelong commitment to learning, personal growth, and professional development.

While I enjoy working with clients across many stages of life, I have a special passion for supporting women as they navigate the unique challenges they often face. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, life transitions, questions of identity or faith, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, I believe healing is possible. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they build healthier relationships, discover greater resilience, and move toward lasting hope.

If we work together, you can expect a counseling relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, encouraged, and equipped with practical tools that help you navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, healthier relationships, and renewed hope.

Outside of the counseling office, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, our three children, and our dog. One of my favorite quotes comes from the great theologian Michael Scott from The Office: “I am going to make this way harder than it needs to be.” It always makes me smile because, if we’re honest, we’ve all found ourselves doing exactly that at one point or another.

I deeply value humor and connection. I believe one of God’s greatest gifts is the ability to laugh, even during difficult seasons. The moments that leave me laughing so hard my stomach hurts and tears stream down my face remind me that joy and hope can exist alongside hardship. Those moments often leave me thinking, “I hope this is what heaven is like.”

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you pursue healing, stronger relationships, renewed hope, and the life God has created you to live.
